My youngest son celebrated is “golden birthday” with family and a few his close friends last Friday.
His actual birthday kick off began Thursday at “how to train a dragon” live event.
It was beyond what he imagined. He was on cloud nine to say they least (no pun intended).
His brother and dad also enjoyed the event and boys evening out.
As details are everything to me. A theme for a event/party, big or small is as equally important.
Bren, my son and I brainstormed together.
The Italiano Pizza Making Party was born.
Invites were a challenge. We finally found together a vintage style image Bren loved (laughing at it too).
Homemade Marinara Sauce, Italian Pizza Dough (which is a must to make in advance) Resting is key
Party favors are a must-big, small, or made with love. A must!
Aprons were the perfect gift
Dessert Bars are my signature. Also, it is a highlight for guests, friends & family.
Anyone that knows me….knows my passion & love is entertaining & creating culinary eats for family & friends.
Being able to do a pizza making party with my family was such a delight. I think the excitement was equal with the birthday boy.
As it was a annual tradition growing up. Every birthday I would have my moms famous strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. My sisters and I had it for every birthday I can remember.
It is a favorite for my family and friends as well.
The birthday boy requested it exactly how grandma makes it. I changed the recipe and have been doing homemade whip cream frosting. Not his favorite.
Request was granted. Happy Birthday Bren-we love you to pieces!
