We have started the beginning of a wonderful family garden. Produce galore is what I’m dreaming of and hopefully just a few months away.
I’m so very thankful to our friend Darin for the help & excavator. Also bringing in one of his friends that this is what he does for a living.
Also, my stepdad for all the help planning, helping sell my husband on the idea and help taking in & finding homes for all the zillion of rhododendrons.
It definitely was a lot more work clearing than planned.
It’s lunchtime!
I was excited as I wanted to try a new sandwich recipe. I found this amazing blog;
Chef & photography. For me this is best of both worlds. Two of my passions.
“The best sandwich” is what it is titled
Homemade rustic country bread
Petite Sirloin- grass fed from the butcher. Marinated with rosemary from my garden, garlic, Himalayan salt & pepper.
Homemade Onion Jam -a new obsession
Rave reviews from the workers-makes me so happy!
Back to work…
Round two… Late afternoon snack
It is a Saturday Sandwich day
Homemade italian bread
Fresh basil
Roasted tomatoes
Slow roasted grilled chicken
Fresh pesto
Fresh mozzarella
We are clear and ready for the next steps….
Dreaming of…
