We decided to make a bed along the fence for berries, corn, more beans & tomatoes. We still need to add a trellis.
My husband Rob ended up fixing part of the old fence.
My mom and I were too excited as he made a little gate for us. On back of our house we have a easement. It is full of the largest wildest blackberries. Mid summer you can find us with many buckets and our ladders leaning of the fence. We are happy girls.

As my stepdad and I painted it. We also had to add a deer monitor. They attacked the garden one afternoon.
I use to love when they visited. Not when they rip out the strawberries, marionberries , lettuce and squash.
