This past week has been full of beautiful bright sunshine.
The family produce garden is flourishing!
It has been exciting to go out to the garden and see the growth.
The red runner beans were one of the most biggest surprises.
Growing by seeds they did well in the germination process. Once we moved them outdoors they were not doing so great.
All of the sudden this week they are seeing lots of new growth.
They have started to stretch right up the arbor.
The sugar snaps peas have always done well. The produce garden has been hit twice by a family of deer. They love the sugar snaps peas. They were chomped down twice along with all the berries.
Our corn was not doing much until this week.
We have endless supply of lettuce: romaine, mixed greens, mesclun butter lettuce, red lettuce, & spinach. We have shared with family & friends.
Abundance of celery right at the moment….
Berry love…
After the deer ripped out the strawberries and munched down the vines on the raspberries, marionberries & boysenberries- Twice. Finally have some new growth back and some blooms.
Fantastic fennel is soaking up the sun
Broccoli is the best to grow local. The taste is so fresh & full of flavor
We are looking forward to our crop of tomatoes. Heirloom haven!
Roma, Italiano, pear, cherry, brandy wine and more…
Zucchini & squashes have spread their leaves and ready to produce
Along with all the warm wonderful sunshine. We have been graced with some stunning sunsets lately.
