My two sons played on our friends fast pitch team; “The Dodgers”
What a great season!
We are truly thankful they had the opportunity to learn & grow from coach Eric.
He did not only teach skills of the game, but also the importance of being a team.

We had an early game one Saturday-It was a perfect time to make cinnamon rolls for the team & fans.

Speaking of fans… Not only are they besties, but The Dodgers biggest Fans!
These two bring an abundance of joy to be around. I look forward to cheering on The Eagles FC with them this fall.

It was a proud momma moment to say the least…
He did outstanding and we were all so proud of him. He had so many lines to remember. Macey, “big sister” helped him make 3×5 cards and practiced over and over with him.
He was very confident and loved seeing this whole other side of him.

My grandma Neva made the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had.
I continue my efforts on trying to come close….
I have her recipe on the original piece of paper from so many years ago… I love pulling out the blue tattered piece of note paper it was written on. It brings me back to many memories of her.
She was such an extraordinary women.

This was my first experience making homemade pastry puff
It was challenging but worth the time and effort.
So fresh, flaky and like anything what a difference making things from scratch!
I topped it with fresh mascarpone & berries.

I was looking to make a treat and who better to ask than my sister n law and very good friend; Deb!
Most of you know her is the “baker” Even when I introduce her to someone new.
I do use her name, then follow it with she is the amazing baker in my blog that I talk about often… then it all connects.
She had me inspired to make the Starbucks Lemon Loaf
