My beautiful niece and her husband are expecting their first baby.
Over the last few years they have had some of the most celebrated moments;
a beautiful wedding on the beach at their favorite vacation spot, Cabo San Lucas. They just moved into their first home. And not to mention they both continue to excel in their careers.
I believe this is the icing on the cake! I know she is going to be such an amazing momma. Her husband Andy already has that sparkle in his eyes. You can feel the joy & excitement-she will be “daddy’s little girl”

My niece Heather and her mom (Deb the baker) planned such a wonderful way to share the gender of Baby Cochrane
“Reveal Party”
She wanted her friends and family to be there in this exact moment when she found at the news.
She had her doctor put it in a double sealed envelope. She took it to Susanne’s Bakery in Gig Harbor.
She wanted the gender color (pink or blue) put on the inside icing of the cake.
This is one of her favorite cakes; White Cake with fresh whip cream & the freshest strawberries.

I of course offered to help in anyway…
I was honored they wanted me to be the one in charge of capturing the photos!
There are so many wonderful ones and here is just a few of my favorites…

It was perfect of course!
Her touches and details of using pink and blue were everywhere.

The worlds greatest grandpa! Her dad was grinning ear to ear…He is full of happiness. I love he went out and bought all the worlds greatest grandpa gear for the party. He also had pacifiers around his neck with a lanyard.

They made wonderful props and had everyone come up and take a photo with the expected parents and Heather would mark the chalkboard of their guess

Afterwards Deb had questions for Heather “old wise tales” of how people would guess the gender

The family really took wearing the color of what you thought the gender of baby Cochrane was to a whole other level.
They did team blue and team pink shirts.
It was so great seeing everyone being so involved.

It was such a beautiful evening and if you look closely you can see the eagles in the tree. They get to see this all the time-What beauty and such added joy to their days

Baby Girl will arrive this November…

As they requested no gifts… most could not resist!

This beautiful little girl is one of Heather’s best friends daughters…I could not get enough of her! She is so photogenic and has such personality

I always say the day my children were born you cant put the feelings into words except it does take your breathe away.
I’m overjoyed for this day to happen for them. It will feel like no other and you always remember it so clearly like it was yesterday…

I was so happy to be apart of this special day in their lives.
I look back on so many special moments I have spent with my niece. As I have several ones I hold on tight too, “the now” is bringing me such joy.
I love watching their lives blossom into endless beauty.
